Ken R. Battell, DD, F.C.A.D

Ken Battell received his Denturist designation in 1973 and was licensed provincially in 1974. His extensive experience in dental laboratory procedures has proved invaluable in his profession as a Denturist. He has been dutifully serving the public for the denture needs from his Concession Street clinic in Hamilton for over 30 years. Ken has also worked tirelessly to have denturists recogized in the dental health profession. He has served as Treasurer, Vice-President, and President of the Denturist Association of Ontario as well as Vice-President of the College of Denturists, among other positions. His dedication to the profession earned him a Fellowship in the Canadian Academy of Denturists. Ken, a Hamilton-Mountain resident, is also known in the local community for coaching and sponsoring sports teams.

Michael K. Battell,

Michael Battell has been licensed with the College of Denturists since 2006. Michael previously earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Toronto and Graduated from the Denturism Program at George Brown College with honours. He works in offices in Hamilton, Welland and St. Catharines. Michael shares the enthusiasm and dedication of his father in the art of denture making. His attention to detail without compromise is key to the exceptional care he gives his patients. He always keeps his patients' overall health in mind and provides treatment options which will best help patients get the most out of their dentures and keep them smiling. Michael believes it is essential to stay abreast of the most recent innovations in denture materials and fabrication techniques so patients can expect the best from their dentures. The Denturists at Battell Denture Clinic regularly attend seminars to better their ability to serve the public and give the kind of care they deserve and can rely on.

Trish is the friendly voice when you call Battell Denture Clinic and the first welcoming smile you’ll see when you come for your appointments. She acts as both a receptionist and office manager and has been a big part of the Battell Denture Clinic family since 2002. Her kindness and warmth put patients immediately at ease and her talent for management keeps the office running smoothly.

Lorrie

Lorrie is Ken’s daughter and Michael’s sister and has been a valued addition to Battell Denture Clinic since 2000. She spends most of her time assisting in the on-site laboratory but helps out with reception responsibilities whenever duty calls. Her multi-tasking abilities and dedication to the family business are a marvel to behold. |
